3CV Survivor Camps in a Nutshell

Where: Clifford Park Scout Activity Park in Wonga Park (in Eastern Melbourne).
When: 4-5 Nights of School Term Holidays, Usually Term 3 (September).
Cost: Approximately $80 including Food and Camping Fees for 4-5 nights (all camping gear is also provided).
What You Bring:

Only yourselves and personal gear, everything else is provided.
All Electrical and Food items that you bring will be classed as contraband and will be confiscated (electrical items will be returned at the end of the camp, food items may be used as rewards).
Cameras are also not allowed and not needed, you receive a Photo CD containing Digital Photos at the end of the camp.

How It Works:

You start the camp in one of two Tribes. You compete in two types of Activities, one to win rewards (luxury food or camping items) and the other to win Immunity.
When Tribes lose Immunity challenges one of their members will be 'Evicted' based on their performance in the previous activity/ies. Eventually all but two Survivors will be evicted and then all the evicted competitors (affectionately known as Woggles) vote for the winner.

Woggles do not miss out once evicted! The Woggles compete both as a separate Tribe against the remaining Survivors and individually against the other Woggles. When competing as a Tribe against the Survivors they try to prevent them winning important luxury awards. When competing against each other they are battling for individual prizes.

What You Can Win:

We are always striving to get bigger and better prizes. In past years the Major Prizes have been...

  • 2001: a huge stash of Junk Food.
  • 2002: a Hike Tent partially donated by Snowgum worth $150
  • 2003: a high quality, full length, self-inflating "Moon-Mat" fully donated by Aussie Disposals and a Discman, total prize value of around $300

Apart from the major prizes there are also other large prizes you can win for some premier activities or for being runner-up. Examples of these prizes would be...

  • Bags of Cash - $25 in 5c pieces
  • $50 Vouchers donated by Aussie Disposal
  • Village Cinema Double Movie Passes
  • CD Discmans
  • CD Singles

No one goes home empty handed from Survivor; everyone gets a Tribal bandana and a showbag with heaps of cool stuff like...

  • Fun Size Chocolate Bars
  • Vouchers (McDonalds, Hungry Jacks, Timezone and many more)
  • Drink Coolers
  • Photo CDs for the camp
  • and anything else we can get our hands on!!
Who Is Eligible:

Any Scout or Guide aged from 11 to 15 years old at the time of the camp is eligible to compete. That's you?! Great, why not sign up now?
